Honolulu-based Castle Resorts & Hotels has added the 110-room Hotel Santa Fe in Guam to its management portfolio.

Castle will manage the operations, sales, marketing and reservations for the Guam resort. This is the second new management contract in the past month for Castle Resorts & Hotels.

"Castle Resorts & Hotels' strategic growth plan includes expansion in emerging markets as well as in the destinations we currently serve," said Alan Mattson, president and chief operating officer of Castle Resorts & Hotels.

"The addition of the oceanfront Hotel Santa Fe complements our Micronesia portfolio in Guam and Saipan with a different option within the Castle brand for both leisure and business travelers," he said.

Hotel Santa Fe, owned by Beach Resorts, LLC, bills itself as Guam's premier art deco hotel. The rose-colored adobe style resort is located on Hagatna Bay in Central Guam.

Castle Resorts & Hotels manages hotels and condominiums on the islands of Oahu, Maui, Kauai, Molokai and the Big Island of Hawaii; on Saipan and Guam in Micronesia; and on New Zealand's North Island. Castle Resorts & Hotels is a subsidiary of The Castle Group, Inc. which was founded in 1994 with just 220 rooms, and now managing more than 2,800 hotel rooms and condominium units with more than 650 resort, hotel and corporate staff.
