Brother Noland and Tony Conjugacion at Aquarium tonight

The Waikiki Aquarium's popular "Ke Kani O Ke Kai" summer concert series continues with a joint performance by Brother Noland and Tony Conjugacion on today. The evening concert on the Aquarium lawn will also feature food from Yama's Fish Market.

Born and raised in Kalihi-Palama on O'ahu, Noland is often credited for creating Jawaiian island music. This year, he won a Na Hoku Hanohano Award for Reggae Album of the Year for his latest CD, "Mystical Fish."

Tony Conjugacion is an award-winning recording artist, composer, television personality, stage actor, producer, director, and kumu hula. In 1985, Conjugacion won multiple Na Hoku Hanohano Awards for Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Traditiona Hawaiian Album of the Year, and Male Vocalist of the Year for his debut-recording project, "Hawaiian Passions."

In the years since, he has been active recording albums, teaching hula, serving as an anchor judge for FOX's television show "Hawaii Stars" and serving on various community boards, including Lunalilo Home, Daughters Of Hawai'i, Keep It Hawaii and Iwalani Foundation.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the concert will begin at 7 p.m. Aquarium galleries and exhibits will remain open throughout the evening.

Ke Kani O Ke Kai will continue throughout the summer with additional performances by Cyril Pahinui and Dennis Kamakahi on July 24 with restaurant partner Grand Café, and Natalie Ai Kamauu and Auntie Genoa Keawe on Aug. 7 with restaurant partner Hula Grill Waikiki.

Each concert is $20 for adults, $10 for juniors ages 7 to 12, and free for children 6 and under ($15/$7 for Friends of Waikiki Aquarium "FOWA" members).

Food will be sold separately at a nominal fee.
