Brushfire extinguished near Holomua Elementary

Firefighters battled a small brushfire at an empty field near Holomua Elementary School in 'Ewa this afternoon.
Two engines and tankers put out the blaze at the corner of Iroquois Point Road and Keaunui Drive, fire Capt. Frank Johnson said.
The one-acre fire was reported at 2:19 p.m. and under control at 2:34, he said.
