Resurfacing work to closes lane near Honolulu airport

The eastbound lane of Aolele Street will be closed for pavement resurfacing work from John Rodgers Boulevard to Paiea Street from 11 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday.Motorists returning to the main terminal of the Honolulu International Airport from the rental car kiosks near Paiea Street will have to detour onto Nimitz Highway.
The state Department of Transportation advises motorists to use caution while driving through the work area and allow for extra travel time.
Roadwork is weather-permitting.
