Police, firefighter recruits graduating today

Honolulu police and fire departments will graduate recruit classes today at Blaisdell Concert Hall and McCoy Pavilion at Ala Moana Park, respectively.The 156th Police Recruit Class has 25 members. Graduation is at 7 p.m. at the concert hall. Mayor Mufi Hannemann and recruit Stephen Keogh are scheduled to speak.
The 91st Fire Fighter Recruit Class with 23 members graduates at 9 a.m. at McCoy Pavilion. Hannemann will deliver the opening remarks.
