Duane "Dog" Chapman, star of the popular A&E reality show "Dog the Bounty Hunter," found time to write a book in between his crime fighting and television schedule.

His memoir, "You Can Run But You Can't Hide," is set for release in August by Hyperion Books. The bounty hunter has already lined up a long list of book signings to promote it.

Chapman's book will give readers a glimpse into his days as a gang member and the 18 months in a Texas prison that helped him turn his life around.

In the first of a series of book signings, Chapman will be at Kahala Mall's Center Court at 7 p.m. Aug. 1 to speak about his book and to meet fans.
