The Sakamaki Lecture Series continues at 7 tonight with "The Climate Crisis" with Stuart Scott at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa's Yukiyoshi Room of Krauss Hall 012.The free two-hour lecture is drawn from the slide show created by Al Gore over his long career of public service and access to many resources beyond the common reach.
The presentation summarizes the science of global warming, establishes the reality of the human ecological footprint as a major causal factor in this phenomenon, and delves into solutions on an individual and collective basis.
