NFL: Pacman had three traffic citations in June

Pacman Jones received three traffic tickets last month after a police stop near his home in Williamson County, Tenn., the cornerback's latest run-in with the law since his suspension from the NFL.

Police stopped Jones's orange Lamborghini at 8:30 a.m. on June 10 and ticketed him because the license plate didn't match the car, according to a report from the Williamson County Sheriff's Office.

Manny Arora, a lawyer for Jones, said in a telephone interview that he was unaware of the tickets.

The Tennessee Titans' cornerback also received citations for failing to provide proof of insurance and for violating a 30-day residency rule for having an out-of-state driver's license.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell in April suspended the 23- year-old Jones for the 16-game 2007 season for conduct detrimental to the league after multiple arrests and several other incidents involving the police. Jones hasn't been convicted of any charge.

Las Vegas authorities charged Jones last month with two counts of coercion for his involvement in a strip-club fight that ended with a club employee shot and paralyzed. Court papers said Jones threatened to kill club employees and bit one of them on the ankle.

Jones dropped an appeal of the league suspension that same month. Goodell said at the time of the suspension he would review Jones' status after the 10th game of the season.

Jones has a court hearing on the traffic violations scheduled for Aug. 10.
