Honolulu TV station loses power temporarily

KGMB-TV was off the air for several minutes during tonight's 6 p.m. newscast because of a power outage.A Hawaiian Electric Co. troubleshooter was in the Kapi'olani Boulevard area within minutes after it was noticed that the station had gone off the air, said HECO spokesman Darren Pai.
Power was fully restored in the area about 6:45. The cause of the outage was not immediately known.
