Alan Arita will perform his magic tricks at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Hawai'i Kai Public Library first-floor meeting room.

Arita, a retired Honolulu Police Department captain, will perform "The Magic of the Amazing Alan Arita."

The free show is recommended for ages 3 and older and is part of the library's Summer Reading program grand finale.

The show is sponsored by the Friends of the Hawai'i Kai Library, a group of volunteers. Door prizes and light refreshments will be served following the show.
