'Harry Potter' celebration today at Kaimuki library

The Kaimuki Public Library will host a Harry Potter event today in celebration of the movie premiere of "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix."This event, set for 3 to 5 p.m., will serve as the finale to the 2007 Children's Summer Reading Program. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes. Admission is free.
Giant chess pieces will be available to those interested in playing the Wizard's Chess Game. Also, children 3 and older may participate in Harry Potter-themed activities in "Diagon Alley," the children's section of the library.
Call the library if a sign language interpreter or other special accommodation is needed.
