Chaminade's Whiting signs with German pro team

Former Chaminade basketball player Zack Whiting has signed with a German professional team.Whiting, a Division II All-American and three-time Pac-West Conference first team selection, will play with the Bayer Giants Leverkusen in Leverkusen, Germany. Whiting was a finalist for the Bob Cousy Award, awarded to the nation's top point guard.
Chris Reaves, Whiting's former Chaminade teammate, recently finished his year playing professionally for Romania's Dinamo Bucuresti team.
