North Shore Oahu water supply restored by repairs

Crews have completed repairs to a broken pump, ending the need for residents from Turtle Bay to Waialua to conserve water, the Honolulu Board of Water Supply said today.The pump at Waiale'e Wells II stopped working yesterday. It is one of two wells that provide drinking water to residents from Sunset Beach to Turtle Bay. To meet demand in that area, the agency rerouted water from a Waialua source.
