Advertiser Staff

Students ages 13-18 in the Hawaii Theatre-sponsored SummerTheatre 2007 program culminate their work with the original theater piece "Transformations" tomorrow at 7 p.m. at the Hawaii Theatre.

Tickets are on sale now for the public performance, priced at $8 general admission (plus applicable Theatre Restoration Charge). They are at the HTC Box Office, 1130 Bethel St., or available at 528-0506 or http://www.hawaiitheatre.com.

"Transformations" is directed by Carson Becker, Seleena Harkness and Hester Kamin, with lighting design by Carolyn Cubit-Tsutsui. The students have created their own theater pieces around the theme, during their study of playwriting and improvisation. They also have been assisted by guest artist Dark Sevier, who led workshops on writing comedy.
