WAI'ANAE
Roadwork may delay traffic

Advertiser Staff

Highway safety improvements along Farrington Highway in Wai'anae will continue through tomorrow, according to Scott Ishikawa, spokesman for the state Department of Transportation.

The DOT is advising motorists of possible eastbound lane closures on Farrington near Wai'anae High School from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Crews and equipment will be in the area to do light pole installation work, Ishikawa said.

Motorists are being advised to use caution while driving through the work area and to allow for extra travel time.

The roadwork will be done weather-permitting.
