TV show featuring Honolulu lifeguards airs Monday

City lifeguards — including those who work in Waikiki — will be featured in the fourth season of Court TV's "Beach Patrol," which airs Monday.The network filmed nine episodes in the Islands this year.
Crews caught lifeguards doing everything from responding to medical calls to dealing with the monthly influx of box jellyfish.
Honolulu is the third city to be featured in this reality TV program. "Beach Patrol" has also filmed in San Diego and Miami Beach.
In exchange, the city will receive, as a donation, much-needed equipment for its Ocean Safety Division.
