A touch of Friday the 13th on roads: H-1, Farrington

Advertiser Staff

Aloha Friday is taking a backseat to Friday the 13th's bad luck for early morning commuters.

An accident was reported in the town-bound lane of the H-1 freeway near Ka'ahumanu Overpass at 4:45 a.m.

Another accident was reported at 4:50 a.m. on Farrington Highway near Waipahu High School, and a third accident was reported 10 minutes earlier on the H-1 near Kaonohi Street in 'Aiea.

What's it all mean?

Leave a little earlier today, and if you believe in omens, avoid the black cats and walking under ladders.

Then again, just follow the rule of the road and pay attention and you should get along just fine.
