Small Business Administration offers free consultations

Advertiser Staff

The U.S. Small Business Administration is offering business owners two opportunities to receive free advice July 25 and 26.

The "SBA Resource Days" will be held from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. July 25 at the Bank of Hawaii's Mililani branch, 95-221 Kipapa Drive. The next day, the bank's Waimalu branch, 98-1277 Ka'ahumanu St., will host a similar event from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Jerry Hirata, lead business development specialist with the SBA, will be available for free consultations on programs and services offered by the SBA. Business owners will be able to get information on financing, government contracting, business planning, and other small business issues.

Appointments are recommended, although walk-ins will be assisted as time allows. For information, call 541-2990, ext. 210, or visit www.sba.gov.hi.
