Advertiser Staff

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating a male who was last seen with James Raul Camargo.

Camargo was last seen alive on Saturday, April 29, 2006, at approximately 6:30 a.m. in the Island Colony Hotel at 445 Seaside Ave. in Waikiki. He had returned to his room in the early morning hours with a Spanish-speaking male. The suspect has blue eyes, short black hair, stands 5 feet 11 and weighs 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue blazer jacket with black pants.

Witnesses related that Camargo, then 26, frequented nightclubs including Hula's Bar and Lei Stand, the Dawg House, and Fusions.

Camargo is originally from Peru. He became a United States citizen and served in the U.S. Navy. He finished his career with the Navy a few years ago; however, he returned periodically to Hawaii.
