WAHIAWA
School supplies collection set

Advertiser Staff

The Wahiawa Lions Club plans to collect school supplies for needy children during the upcoming weekends.

Donation drop-off sites include the Wahiawa Shopping Center, near Tamura's Market, on July 21 and 28.

The donations benefit children attending Wahiawa schools. Needed supplies include pencils, ballpoint pens, crayons, colored pencils, scissors and composition books.

Last year, the club collected about 1,550 pounds of supplies and $1,500 in monetary donations, club president Tino Bagasol said.

For more information or to make a donation, contact Jack Kampfer at 621-5109, ext. 226.
