Hands-on art activities for keiki are among the events at ArtSpree 2007.

Today's ArtSpree 2007 at The Contemporary Museum, 2411 Makiki Heights Drive, is a day-long celebration of the arts, with entertainment, demonstrations and hands-on activities.

The lineup includes storytelling sessions, performances by Mermaids Hawaii, acrobatics by The Amazing TJ of Cirque Hawaii and slam poet Kealoha and Youth Speaks Hawaii. Music is by Rising Melody, The Dr. Boogie Nights Ensemble, the Hope Mayo Trio and KTUH DJs Albert and BBQ.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It's free. Catch the free shuttles at Punahou School. 526-0232.
