Firefighters sent to put out car fire near Nimitz Beach

Firefighters from the Kapolei Fire Station have been sent to extinguish an automobile fire reported at Nimitz Beach on the grounds of the former Barbers Point Naval Air Station.The fire was reported about 1:55 a.m.
No injuries were reported in connection with the fire.
