Man critically injured in wreck on Kaneohe Bay Drive

An 18-year-old man was critically injured in a single-car crash early this morning in Kane'ohe.The man was driving a car that crashed and rolled over several times on Kane'ohe Bay Drive near Moakaka Place at about 4:20 a.m. The driver was partially thrown from the vehicle.
The man was taken to The Queen's Medical Center in critical condition, said Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for the city Department of Emergency Services. The man was the only occupant in the vehicle.
Police closed a portion of Kane'ohe Bay Drive while they investigated. The road was reopened at about 9 a.m.
