Surf small for now; not much is on the horizon, either

Advertiser Staff

Surf along south- and east-facing shores should be running about 2 to 4 feet today, according to the National Weather Service.

West- and north-facing shores will probably see surf of 1 to 3 feet today, forecasters said.

A series of small swells is expected between now and Friday, while a small westerly swell may arrive around Thursday.

Short period surf will gradually increase along east-facing shores.
