Volleyball: U.S. junior men's team finishes seventh

The U.S. men's junior national team, captained by Honolulu's Kawika Shoji and Spencer McLachlin, defeated Cuba, 30-28, 20-25, 25-23, 25-20, today to place seventh at the FIVB Men's Junior World Championship in Rabat, Morocco.

Brazil beat defending champion Russia, 25-18, 25-18, 25-19, in the gold-medal match.

Will Price led the U.S. over Cuba with 24 points on 22 kills and two aces. Shoji started at libero while McLachlin started at outside hitter and contributed four points.
