Grenache focus of wine tasting

Master sommelier Chuck Furuya is hosting a tasting of wines made with the grenache grape varietal at 5:45 p.m. Thursday at Vino in Restaurant Row. He's intrigued, he says, with this "delicious, soothing and food-friendly" grape and wants to teach more people about it.

This tasting of five different wines is by reservation only and costs $35. Call: 533-4476.
