Bank robbery suspect surrenders to police

Advertiser Staff Writer

A Kalihi man suspected of robbing Bank of Hawaii's Kalihi branch on Friday turned himself in to police today.

The man, 20, went to the main police station at 1:15 p.m. and was booked for second-degree robbery.

Honolulu CrimeStoppers released a bulletin Monday with a clear surveillance photo of the suspect.

The man was uncharged but being held last night at the main station cellblock.
