Hard Rock Cafe Honolulu's 20th a Kokua Hawaii benefit

Reggae star Alpha Blondy will headline the Hard Rock Cafe Honolulu's 20th birthday party on Aug. 24.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Jack Johnson's Kokua Hawaii Foundation.

The party will feature an early evening outdoor stage and late night indoor stage with performances by Ten Feet, Go Jimmy Go, Natural Vibrations and Ooklah the Moc.

Attendees will be able to enter a raffle for Gibson guitars autographed by the birthday party's musicians, a surfboard signed by top-ranked junior professional surfer Kekoa Cazimero and other prizes.

A T-shirt commemorating Hard Rock Cafe Honolulu's 20th anniversary will be on sale for a limited time at the restaurant's gift shop. Proceeds from T-shirt sales will also be donated to the Kokua Hawaii Foundation, a non-profit co-founded by Johnson supporting environmental education in Hawai'i schools and communities.

Doors will open at 5 p.m. The outdoor stage, open from 6 to 10 p.m., will feature Ten Feet, Go Jimmy Go and Alpha Blondy. The indoor stage, open from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., will feature Natural Vibrations and Ooklah the Moc.
