Advertiser Staff

New overhead traffic signals in Moi'ili'ili and Kalihi will be activated Tuesday morning, city officials announced today.

The signal in Moi'ili'ili is at South Beretania and Kaialiu streets near Star Market and Burger King.

The new Kalihi signal is at North School and Leilani streets, midway between Likelike Highway and Gulick Avenue.

At both locations, the city recently installed curb ramps, pedestrian buttons and pedestrian signals.

Cost of the projects was $298,000 for Moi'ili'ili and $371,000 for Kalihi.
