Ryan's Grill's summer Beer Fest, featuring more than 100 brews from Germany, New Zealand, China, Mexico and other nations, will be held today through Aug. 29 at the Ward Centre restaurant.

A special menu is being offered to match beer with cuisine.

As part of the celebration, Music Wednesday, from 9 p.m. to midnight, will feature such Island bands as B.E.T., Next Generation and Keahiwai.

Also, Robin Uyeda, Ryan's executive chef, will conduct "Cooking With Brews" classes from 2 to 5 p.m. Aug. 18. The $30 tuition includes hands-on participation and a beer dinner to follow.
