Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties has opened its new Education and Development Center, which will provide new and experienced real estate agents with a state-of-the-art training facility. The new 2,500 square foot center located in Kahala will be home to the training program that was founded in 1999 by Tracy Bradley, Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties regional vice president of sales. The program offers hands-on training and personal coaching from some of the top real estate professionals in the state.
All program participants must hold an active real estate license in Hawai'i. Some of the courses include personal business planning, financing, marketing techniques, open house skills, and managing buyers and sellers. The course also includes personal coaching on the agent's first three transactions. The center is equipped for wireless connectivity that will allow all participants to work off of their personal laptops.
About 70 agents have graduated from the program each year since its inception. After completing the curriculum, new agents have the option to join one of the five Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties branch offices on Oahu. The new Kahala facility will also be home to the company's pre-licensing school.
