H-1 airport viaduct westbound lanes reopened

Police reopened the westbound lanes of the H-1 airport viaduct at 2:10 a.m. this morning following an accident last night that left one woman in critical condition.The accident occurred at about 8 p.m. A 28-year-old woman injured in the crash was taken to The Queen's Medical Center in critical condition and a male was also taken to Queen's, though his condition was not immediately known.
Police had to wait for a vehicle involved the accident to be towed and for the traffic investigators to finish their investigation before the highway could reopen this morning.
