Surf on the rise along east shores

Surf overnight will be 2 to 4 feet along east shores overnight, the National Weather Service said, but it will rise to 4 to 6 feet today.A moderate west to west/northwest swell is expected to arrive today and continue through Sunday afternoon. Surf along west shores will be 3 to 5 feet today, and surf along south and north shores will be 2 to 4 feet.
East swells may require a high surf advisory late tomorrow and Saturday, forecasters said.
