Michelle Wie has announced plans to enter the Weetabix Women's British Open at St. Andrews in two weeks.

Wie also will play in next week's Evian Masters in France, the Associated Press reports.

It will be her first tournament since withdrawing from the U.S. Women's Open last month because of a sore left wrist, first hurt during an orientation visit to Stanford in February.

Wie has withdrawn from two of her three most recent tournaments. She has completed only seven rounds this year, with an average score of just under 78. Wie has not broken par in competition since the final round of Evian last year, a total of 23 rounds. Her second-place finish at the Evian was the last of six straight top-five LPGA finishes for Wie in 2006.
