Grant will mean upgrades at Damien Memorial School

Advertiser Staff

Damien Memorial School today received part of a $100,000 grant from the First Hawaiian Bank Foundation and will use the money to renovate its locker room facilities, the school said in a press release.

The donation, which will be presented in four payments, is one of the largest the school has received in years.

"The upgraded locker room facilities will provide modern equipment to accommodate both the athletic program and physical education classes," said Bernard Ho, interim president and CEO of Damien.
