Libraries to host Harry Potter events tomorrow

If you're looking for Harry Potter events tomorrow, head to your public library.

Four libraries will hold celebrations: Kalihi-Palama, Hawai'i Kai, Manoa and the state library.

The Kalihi-Palama Public Library hosts, "Harry Potter and the End: A Celebration of Reading for all Ages." From 10:30 to 11:15 a.m., magician Mark Kroll will wow crowds with his tricks and puppetry. And from 1 to 4 p.m., movies will be shown. Also kids will get a chance to make Harry Potter crafts.

The Hawai'i State Library will feature a celebration from 11 a.m. to noon. Librarians will read aloud from "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," and there will be a drawing for a free copy of the book.

The Hawai'i Kai Library will present a wizard's chess game from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in connection with the release of the book. For more information or to sign up to play, call 397-5833.

And Harry Potter-themed events will be found at Manoa Public Library from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
