Fatal hit-run case highlighted on Big Isle 'Most Wanted'

The driver in a fatal hit-and-run crash, a man suspected in a robbery at Kehena Beach and a Kona man wanted for abuse will be featured on the next edition of the CrimeStoppers television program "Hawaii Island's Most Wanted."The new episode starts airing today on Oceanic Time Warner Cable's public access Channel 54 at 5:30 p.m. and again on Sundays at 5 p.m. The show also airs intermittently on Channel 53.
In the episode, police ask for the public's help in locating the driver of a hit-and-run fatality on March 14 in Puna. The victim, Raymond L. Carvalho IV, was walking north on North Kulani Road in Mountain View when he was struck by a vehicle that was also traveling north around 10:45 p.m. Investigators believe the driver was operating a 1999-to-2006 blue Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, a 2000-to-2006 blue Chevrolet Tahoe, or a 2000-to-2006 blue Chevrolet Suburban.
Carvalho's family members have never stopped looking for the driver of the vehicle, posting pleas for information on Craigslist.org and contacting media on a regular basis.
"Hawaii Island's Most Wanted" also asks for the public's help in finding 21-year-old Aaron Hoke of Hilo, who is wanted in connection with a robbery and several car break-ins at Kehena Beach on Feb. 16. He is described as 5 feet 9, heavy set with brown eyes and black hair.
The TV show also asks for the public's help in locating 24-year-old Earl Lewis Camacho, who is wanted for abuse of a family/household member in West Hawai'i. Camacho, 24, is described as 5 feet 4, 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
The TV program's host, Maj. Jay Enanoria, asks anyone with information about any of the wanted persons to call the police department's non-emergency number at 935-3311, or CrimeStoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo and 329-8181 in Kona.
