Children at shelter to receive free school supplies

Children at the Next Step Project Shelter in Kakaako will be getting a treat they can use this upcoming school year.At 5:30 p.m., members oft the Locations Foundations' Board of Trustees and Prudential Locations agenst will personally deliver 70 backpacks filled with school supplies to children in the homeless shelter.
This is the sixth year the foundation has reached out to homeless children. The foundation is funded by Prudential agents and staff and since it was founded in 1988, it has given more than $100,000 to local charity causes.
