NIU VALLEY
School wants help spiffing up

Advertiser Staff

Students and parents are asked to pitch in from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow at Niu Valley Middle School in a campus beautification project.

The work is jointly sponsored by Prudential Locations, the 3Rs program and the school.

Jobs will include some painting, cleaning, yard work and some moving and lifting of classroom items to get ready for the July 31 start of school.

The real estate firm will provide about 20 volunteers and the 3Rs program has already helped repaint locker rooms and refinish the floor, and has paid for a new stage curtain, which hasn't arrived yet.
