Amateur boxing smoker set for Palolo tomorrow

An eight-match amateur boxing smoker will be presented by USA-Boxing Hawaii Association at Palolo District Park gym tomorrow at 6 p.m.

The lineup includes the following bouts: Le Rena Holbron-Bautista (Evolution) against Alyssa Kane (Kawano) at 112 pounds; Arnold Berdon III (Kawano) against T.J. (Kawano) at 130 pounds; Tyler Agbayani (Kalakaua) against Anthony Ibanez (Wailuku) at 130 pounds; Justin Yadao (636) against Dustin Awaya (Palolo) at 150 pounds; Zephaniah Kilaulani (636) against Faamanu Siuta (Kawano) at 150 pounds; Ashley Hooks (Wailuku) against Tim Riffe (Fighters Unlimited) at 165 pounds; Bruce Niimoto (unattached) against Matt Takata (Palolo) at 125 pounds, and Daly Tipoti (Kawano) against a yet to be named fighter at 201 pounds.

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for under 5.

POLO

MAUI TEAM PLAYS

The Maui Polo Club plays the Hawaii Polo Club in week 2 of the inter-island matchup Sunday at the Mokuleia Polo Fields on O'ahu's north shore.

The United States Polo Association's Masters Cup will go to the winner of Sunday's match.

Gates open at 11 a.m., with polo starting at 2 p.m.
