Oahu surfers get wave choices on South and North shores

Advertiser Staff

Surfers have a number of choices today with small- or medium-sized swells reaching most parts of O'ahu.

The National Weather Service forecast projects swells will be 2 to 4 feet along south-facing shores, with an out-of-season swell of up to 5 feet reaching some North Shore spots.

Waves along east-facing beaches are forecast at 5 to 7 feet today, although wind will be a factor. Surf along West facing shores will be 2 to 3 feet.

The National Weather Service is projecting a bump in southerly waves tomorrow, when they are forecasting waves of 3-to-5 feet.
