Advertiser Staff

The cause of an early-morning fire at a Hale'iwa beach home that caused $300,000 damage, is still under investigation.

Fire Capt. James Todd said today that no one was at home when the fire started at 5 a.m. The fire was under control by 5:15 a.m., Todd said.

No injures were caused by the fire at 66-409 Pikai St. The fire appeared to have been limited to the living room beachfront areas of the house.
