'Ukulele players to go for a world record in Honolulu

About 480 'ukulele gathered at Kapi'olani Park today in an effort to set a Guinness World Records mark for the most people performing a single song on the instrument.The ensemble was part of the Starbucks 37th Annual Ukulele Festival being held between 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The players were accompanied by Hawai'i recording artist Jack Johnson, who made a surprise appearance. The musicians joined together in playing one of Johnson's songs, "Breakdown."
