2008 Miss Chinatown Hawaii Pageant seeks contestants, single women (never married with no children), ages 18-26 of Chinese ancestry with a Chinese surname, for the Nov. 4 pageant. Island Beauty Productions seeks contestants, male and female ages 6 months to 55 years, for the Sept. 22 state scholarship pageant; entry fee is $150; call for entry form by July 31 deadline: 223-4482.

2008 Narcissus Queen Pageant, sponsored by Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii, is accepting applications for the pageant scheduled for Jan. 5. Contestants must be single (never married or given birth), 19-26 years old on the date of the pageant, at least one-half Chinese, and a Hawai'i resident.
