Finding, keeping good employees to be discussed

Advertiser Staff

A workshop on hiring and retaining employees will be held from 8-9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Neal Blaisdell Center O'ahu Room.

The panel discussion, "Finding and Keeping Great Employees: An Essential Briefing for Hawai'i's Small Businesses," is sponsored by the National Federation of Independent Business. With an unemployment rate of 2.4 percent, employers often say that finding employees is one of their top concerns. A panel of experts will discuss ways to solve this problem.

The cost of the workshop is $20 for NFIB members, $25 for non-members and $30 for on-site registration. For information, call the NFIB at 523-3695 or visit www.nfib.com/page/homeHI
