Three of Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center's signature restaurants recently reopened after extensive renovations: Restaurant Suntory, Beijing Chinese Seafood Restaurant and Okonomiyaki Chibo Restaurant.

The facelift of these popular restaurants — which reopened over the past several weeks — is part of the overall Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center renovation.

"These restaurants have always had a strong following and now with the renovations will attract even more visitors" said Marleen Akau, general manager of Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center.

As the center's only original tenant, Restaurant Suntory has been serving Japanese cuisine at Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center for 27 years. The newly renovated 6,393 square-foot restaurant is on the third level of Building B.

Open since 1988 and known for its seafood, Beijing Chinese Seafood Restaurant has reopened after an extensive renovation. Located on the third level of Building C, it boasts 5,992 square feet of dining space.

Okonomiyaki Chibo Restaurant, on the third level of Building A, completed its $900,000 renovation at the end of June in the new 3,881-square-foot location. Marking its 17th year of operation at the center, the restaurant offers Japanese cuisine, including "Okonomiyaki" dishes originating from Osaka, Japan.

Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, which is undergoing a major multimillion dollar renovation, consists of more than 310,000 square feet along a three-block stretch of Waikiki's Kalakaua Avenue.
