Marriott Ko Olina to donate linens to homeless shelter

Advertiser Staff

Wai'anae's Pai'olu Kai'aulu homeless shelter will be getting some help and fresh linens from Marriott's Ko Olina Beach Club this week.

The hotel plans to donate more than 1,000 pieces of brand new and used linens, including blankets and bedspreads, which have recently been replaced during the resort's latest makeover.

The Leeward Coast hotel's executive team including General Manager Chad Jensen will meet with the shelter's logistics coordinator Michael Kaleo McNulty on Thursday and then tour the state facility.

A resort spokeswoman said, "It's all part of Marriott's Spirit To Serve Our Communities, a program designed to foster goodwill in communities where Marriott International does business. "
