KHON-TV sold for second time in 18 months

Local television station KHON-TV has been sold to a Mainland buyer, in the second ownership change for the local Fox affiliate in 18 months.New Vision Television Group of Los Angeles will purchase KHON from Montecito Broadcast Group, said the station's General Manager Joe McNamara.
The price was not disclosed.
McNamara, who said he doesn't anticipate much changes under the new ownership, said the deal is expected to close in October, pending federal regulatory approval.
New Vision, a unit of Washington, D.C.-based Arlington Capital Partners, owns television stations in Santa Barbara, Calif., Amarillo, Texas, and Duluth, Minn.
