DOT to discuss road projects

The state Department of Transportation is holding a series of meetings in Maui County to discuss a draft budget for potential road projects through 2013.

The projects include the Lahaina and Pa'ia bypasses and the Upcountry-Kihei Road

The meetings will be at 6:30 p.m. today at Kamali'i Elementary, Kihei; 6 p.m. tomorrow, Mayor Eddie Tam Center, Makawao; 6 p.m. Thursdays, DOT Highways District Office, 650 Palapala Drive, Kahului; and 4 p.m. Aug. 1, Kulana 'Oiwi, Kaunakakai.
