'Remembering Rio' concert set at Hawaii Public Radio

"Remembering Rio," an evening of Brazilian music and bossa nova tempos, will be presented by Sandy Tsukiyama de Oliveira and her group, Jazz Braz, at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 11 at the Atherton Performing Arts Studio at Hawaii Public Radio.The repertoire, all rendered in Portuguese, will feature works by Antonio Carlos Jobim, Vinicius de Moraes, Baden Powell and Jorge Bem, composers who inspired de Oliveira to embark on a musical quest to Rio de Janeiro.
Tickets are $20 general, $17.50 for HPR members and $10 for students with ID.
